The 2nd Canadian Book Challenge, Eh?
I have joined “The 2nd Canadian Book Challenge, Eh?” hosted by John Mutford at “The Book Mine Set”. It runs from July 1, 2008 to July 1, 2009. The goal is to read 13 books during that time that are either written by a Canadian author and/or set in Canada.
The following is the list I have come up with. It is subject to change. I am pretty set on most of them though, and as you can tell have already knocked off a few. Part of the reason they could change is due to availability. As it stands, three of the books on my list are currently only available in Canada. Sure, it’s not a big deal to order them through Amazon.Ca, but given that the US dollar is weaker, and having to face shipping costs, I am holding out hope to find them elsewhere (meaning possibly used). Though “Neuropath” is scheduled for a mid-March release in the US.
