Here are the answers to the questions from Roger:

Who will be the participants and winners of the next World Series, Super Bowl, and Stanley Cup.

Wow! These are tough. Especially the Super Bowl. The season hasn’t started and I’m not what you would call a huge, knowledgeable fan. But I’ll take a crack at them.

World Series: I’m going out on a limb and saying it will be a repeat of 2008 – Philadelphia Phillies v. Tampa Bay Rays. Betting against the Yankees is probably dumb, but what the heck. I just think the Rays are better managed, and that’s saying something since the Yanks’...

Today is mine and Marcia’s 9th Anniversary. We will be heading out to dinner with the boys tonight. Probably going to the Sharp Edge. We’ve been there once thanks to Marcia’s Uncle Joe. They have good food, though not really kid friendly. Their biggest claim to fame is a huge, and I mean HUGE, selection of beer, with about 40% of it being Belgian.

OK, I’ve decided to do another round of questions from my readers.

The rules are, you can ask me anything, and I have to answer it. (Maybe even correctly and truthfully …….. ha-ha-ha!)

Just post your questions in the comments of this post.

It’s not one that is really enjoyed, but it’s a milestone regardless. I turn 40 years old today.

I don’t feel that I am mature enough to be 40. That’s not a way of saying that I shouldn’t be turning 40. I’ve made 40 trips around the sun (Sol), so it’s valid. But what I mean is that I always figured that I would have some vast amount of wisdom and decorum by the time I reached this age. But I don’t...

I was getting ready to search for a book on Amazon’s site and scrolled down just to see what was showing up. They usually have some suggestions, though they are to be taken with a grain of salt. Poor Mark Rayner, author of “Marvellous Hairy”. I looked at the latest edition of the book that was just released on Amazon and others were looking at it, too. When that happens, Amazon spits out these other items with idea that if you looked at the first item, you might like the others.

None.

I don’t have any and don’t want any.

If, for conversations sake, I was to ever get any, it would have something to do with my sons. I wouldn’t want a tattoo that would become something of a problem years down the road. Whether some fad I outgrow or just some other item that wouldn’t be appropriate in later years.

Well, I’m not going to school, so I have no grades.

:)

I am sure I could be graded on other things though in life. I just hope that I am doing well.

I would say that this is a tie. Mostly due to having two sides of this. One was a purchase that has been great because of what it has brought. The other was great because of the practicality. Those items are the Roku and our Chrysler Town & Country minivan.

The Roku has been great because of being able to watch Netflix movies and TV shows on our actual television without having to deal with the discs themselves. I have been (slowly) working my way through “The Dresden Files”. Because I am not in possession of the discs, I don’t have to worry about it taking so long to watch these. And it just makes it so convenient. It has also helped with movies that Nigel would want to watch. He is able to watch them...

Favorite memory could be rather subjective. There are so many ways you can take this and so many choices. I have fond memories of the days that Nigel and Ian were born. I remember the day Nigel walked on his own for the first time. I remember those times when Nigel would run up to me and say “I love you, Daddy” while trying to give me a hug. I remember those times when Ian would smile and giggle when he would see me for the first time when coming home from work.

I have great memories of times I went out with friends, or went to concerts, or to a hockey game, or played a hockey game, etc. etc. etc. But I think for now I will go with one memory that is from a week long trip to Williamsburg, Virginia.

I continue to try and find time to blog, but seem to keep running into lack of it. I have a few posts started, and hopefully I will find sometime this weekend. I need to really catch up, but what’s a working, hockey playing father of two to do?
