When I read about it, the first thing I thought about was a Spongebob episode where Patrick is mistakenly given an award. He’s goes around showing things (that is correct, things, not people) that he won it saying, “I got an award!” Pretty sad, eh?

Roger passed this award onto me. It’s called the Kreative Blogger Award. The idea then is for me to pass it along to others. But first, I am supposed to reveal seven things about myself that I haven’t revealed before. Could be kind of tough. I don’t want to reveal too much because I believe the mystery that is me is what intrigues people into reading my blog. Well, OK, not really, but one can dream.

  1. If I was in my mid-teens right now, I would have a huge crush on Miranda Cosgrove, the star of Nickelodeon’s “iCarly”.
  2. I hate green beans. And I specifically mean the beans. I like the pods, or as they are called French cut, but don’t like the beans. However, due to the fact that I am approaching the age of 40, I eat any veggies I can get, even if I don’t like them.
  3. I think that all Major League baseball teams should have the team nickname on their home uniforms and the city/state they represent on their road uniforms. And that the road uniforms should be gray, not light blue or tan as some of the teams have now.
  4. I like things to be organized and balanced, if possible. For instance, my CD’s have always been alphabetized by artist then put in order of release. Books on the shelf are done in a manner that looks pleasing to me, and I try to group them together by genre. Also, with books, I hate the idea of having a series of books that have different styles of artwork on the cover, and prefer to have the same types of editions when having many books by one author. I hate unorganized closets and cabinets. Everything should have a place, and even if it’s out of place, it should be piled up in a neat manner.
  5. I’ve been to a few concerts in my day that have placed me very close to those smoking marijuana. It is well known that you can still get the effects of it without actually smoking it. I have experienced that and couldn’t figure out what the big deal was. Honestly, you can get the same feeling from alcohol and it isn’t illegal.
  6. They say, “never judge a book by it’s cover.” I haven’t actually bought a book based solely on it’s cover, but many have turned my head or caught my interest which led me to read the description and seek out reviews. And there are many books that I really just love the artwork on the cover, but will never buy.
  7. I usually wash my hands with cool or cold water. It goes towards the fact that I don’t like to be hot. When I use warm water, especially in the spring and summer, then it seems to elevate my temperature.

So, who do I pass the award along to? Roger would be my first choice, but as he said, I don’t want to do get into a loop. So I have come up with two more.

  1. Third String Goalie – A great site about hockey jerseys. Jeff’s posts are filled with great information and many come with great videos. He seems to work his butt off on each and every post.
  2. Fantasy Book Critic – Started by Robert Thompson, and after realizing he needed to spend more time on other things in life, it has turned into a group of people reviewing books. I have found out about a lot of great books through this site.

This is no offense to the other blogs I read. These two blogs I listed, along with Roger’s, have a lot of work put into them. Some of the other blogs I read they may only be good for a post or two a week, or less. Roger’s, Jeff’s, and Robert and Co.’s have a new post every day. It’s really interesting and fun to see that every time I visit.

I’m sure there’s PLENTY of mystery left, effendi.
