I was fooling myself when I said earlier that I was getting back in the swing of reading. It is obvious that I am in a funk. I have stopped two books in the middle, and both books were by authors that I really like. Authors that I have read a few books by of each, and liked all of them. But both these books seemed so blah. This last one is actually turning out to be horrible. It can’t be. It just can’t. So I am not sure what I am going to do. Probably just play it cool for a bit. Pick something up to take with us when we go to Detroit later this week. And if it doesn’t work out, then maybe just dump the idea of reading for a couple of weeks. Who knows. Or pick up one of the few non-fiction reads I have. I have one in mind that might do the trick. “The Beer and Whisky League: The Illustrated History of the American Association – Baseball’s Renegade Major League” by David Nemec and Mark Rucker.
