Nigel loves trains. Or as he calls them, “Woo’s”. Maybe a better phrase would be that he is obsessed with them. A while back we had a couple of Target gift cards to use on Nigel and decided to buy him a toy. We opted for THIS GeoTrax set.
A month or more later, on St. Patrick’s Day, Nigel, my Mother-In-Law, and I went over to David and Catherine’s for dinner. Nigel started playing with Lyric’s Thomas the Tank Engine trains, the ones that use wooden tracks. I could not tear him away from them. So last weekend, Marcia and I decided to get him some of his own. We really hadn’t spent any money on his toys. Other then the GeoTrax set, almost all of his toys came as gifts from others.
Boy oh boy, Nigel fell in love with the Thomas stuff. For the last week, other then some Sesame Street cars that David and Catherine got him for Christmas, he has continually played with the Thomas trains exclusively. He even has to take some with him to eat, when we can get him to the table instead of playing with the trains while we feed him, and usually takes THOMAS and PERCY to bed with him.
