It’s that time of year again! The World Aussie Football Association kicked off it’s fourth season this past weekend.
For those that need a refresher, my team is the Philadelphia Freedom. We had an awful start to our first season, but managed to pull things together. The second season we just missed the playoffs. Our third season (last year), we finished with the best record in the league, only to lose two straight in the playoffs and get knocked out. This year, I am just hoping to make the playoffs again.
And my team didn’t start as strong as I would have liked. They lost to the Southern Warriors 880-830. I had a pretty good showing from all my players, except for newcomer Tim Notting of the Brisbane Lions. He only scored 48 points. But it’s early yet. I am not worried about starting the season with a loss.
