I have a tendency to use a certain analogy quite often. If someone doesn’t like something, I usually say that they seem to like it less then having a root canal.

I had a root canal about four years ago. I hadn’t been keeping up on going to the dentist, because I didn’t have insurance. (Actually, my employer at the time gave Marcia and I, and Nigel eventually, $650 a year to spend on dental AND optical, so needless to say we didn’t get a lot of dental work done.)
