“The Mysterium” by Eric McCormack Funny Comic
Feb 26

I have never claimed to know much of the stories in the Bible. However, I do know a lot (more then I should possibly) about the Star Wars movies. Last night the two were combined in the Final of Jeopardy!

My Mother-In-Law, Marcia, and I make a habit of watching Jeopardy! as often as possible. And last night’s final Jeopardy! category was “Biblical Places” (or something close to that). Marcia said to her Mom during the commercial break not to blurt out the answer because she wanted a chance to guess it, seeing as that her Mom is pretty good in Biblical categories. As it was this time around, Marcia actually knew the answer (or guessed correctly, as I did), where my Mother-In-Law had no clue.

I can’t find the exact question and don’t remember it, but basically this place was used as a name of a planet in “Return of the Jedi” and is a village that was home to a witch in the Bible. The answer/question was “What is Endor?”

Endor in the Bible

Endor in Star Wars

I had no idea that George Lucas borrowed the name, but then again he could have accidentally used it.

    Scott-
In “Return of the Jedi”, a planet shares its name with this home of a woman who summons a spirit for Saul.

Thanks, Roger. I had a feeling you would know where to find them.
