A couple of Thursdays ago, the soon-to-be retired CEO of Lehigh Cement called a conference. I had forgotten about it, so didn’t attend. But I got a shock when fellow employees returned. My group was staying in the building we work out of, but essentially the company was moving to Texas. You can read about it in an ARTICLE from the local newspaper’s (The Morning Call) web site, though the one that appeared in the actual paper was much longer. This moves comes from a recent merger with Hanson, who is bases their North American operations in Dallas.
