NHL No Longer the Only Ones
The National Lacrosse League, or the NLL, the indoor lacrosse league with teams in the US and Canada, canceled their upcoming season because of a labor dispute with the players’ union. Though not on quite on the same scale as the NHL, it is still interesting that this would happen. You see, unlike the NHL when they canceled their season, the NLL was up-and-coming, gaining popularity. Also, they weren’t supposed to start their season until the day after Christmas. So they could have still negotiated for another two months! Oh well.
