Marcia’s Update
Marcia is home. There was a feeling that nothing was going to get done during her stay. The first doctor that saw her couldn’t understand why she was admitted. I think it was a matter of them not getting the necessary information from her family doctor. After parts of three days and two nights, they didn’t get to far though. They started her on a preventative med to fight the migraines. She is to follow up with the doctor in 10 days to see how it is working. In the mean time, she is to stop taking other certain meds to help “detox” her system. The doctor feels that part of her pain is rebounds from these meds.
She is also going to continue follow-ups with the allergist, she still has the appointment regarding her TMJ, and also will be seeing an endocrinologist. Hopefully with all these factors, something can be found to be the culprit, even if all of them find something that is helping the cause.
Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers during Marcia’s hospital stay.

It made my afternoon more pleasant, playing with Nigel and his building blocks, while watching the Spartans beat the Irish.
Pizza Night
Even though Marcia was in the hospital, Nigel and I attended the first Pizza Night we have had in a long time. Nigel hadn’t had a nap that day, due to the hospital calling at a bad time to have Marcia come in, so he was rather wound up. He kept running back and forth from the kitchen to the living room. Thankfully he didn’t get himself into any trouble, but was just so excited to be somewhere new. He also liked having the hosts daughter Chloe (who was mine and Marcia’s flower girl at our wedding) running around with him, as well as their dog Murphy (a black mostly collie).
Because of Nigel’s sleep deprivation, I didn’t stay long enough to play a Pizza Night favorite after dinner game, Balderdash. But I left it at the get-together so everyone else could play. The beer selection was very nice, too. Ed and Shannon bought a variety pack of Magic Hat. I wish I had a designated driver, though I did get to enjoy a Jinx, which was quite good.
Nigel Pictures
Just a few pictures of the Munchkin Man, with the last picture being from his bath this morning after picking up Marcia.
For those that might care, Marcia was trying to get Nigel’s hair to look like Jim Carrey’s during the “white devil” scenes of “Ace Ventura 2″.
