A funny observance in the comics today from “Speed Bump” by Dave Coverly.
I have noticed that even commercials are utilizing widescreen. What’s even funnier is that this used to be referred to as “letterbox.” But obviously widescreen sounds like you are getting something more or something better.
Safety Net Used
So I mentioned that finishing in the top 4 in the ladder for our league gave you a safety net to lose the first game of the finals (playoffs). It’s well used now. The Freedom lost to the Los Angeles Highwaymen 945-858. To top it off, the Edmonton Bombers crushed my recently set record of most points in a game by scoring 1113. So it wasn’t a good week for my team.
This week we take on fellow SE Pennsylvanian Brian (who actually lives in Philly) and his Jersey Shore Crushers. They got by the somewhat weak Southern Warriors in the first round. After the way my team has performed the last two weeks, I am getting worried. Hopefully...
