The Philadelphia Freedom made history again this past weekend. In their victory over the Vancouver Explorers they scored 1057 points, the highest total in the league’s short three-year history. And if any of you remember, it is the second time my team has set this record during the present season. (By the way, Vancouver scored 715 points.)
Next week my team takes on the Glendale Sparrows. It still has some importance, because my team could clinch the regular season champs title. Last week (which I forgot to mention) we clinched our spot in the top four, which was my goal. Now the team is one win away from finishing in first place. Not bad. Of course the big test is yet to come. Can my team win the “Flag” (the REAL championship)? We shall see in the weeks to come.
