It was a two week round this time around. The AFL has each of it’s teams take a week off in the middle of the season, but it’s done over the course of two weeks. So it was a long time coming, but the Philadelphia Freedom squeaked by with a 890-824 win over the Montreal Saints. Next week will be the Liberty Cup Match against the Milwaukee Robins. Since Philly is the birth place of our independence, my team hosts this game every season. The opponent has changed every season (though always another American based team).
The Freedom are still holding fast to second place after this week. Here is the ladder:
