So today I worked my last day for FLSmidth. It was kind of bittersweet. I enjoyed my time there. The people in my group and those working around me are very friendly and helpful, and I felt more welcomed there in my short 7-8 month stay then I did in my first three years at CHL.

Two of the guys took me to lunch at Bennigan’s. Though I was leaving in a couple of hours anyway, it was a nice way to break up the day. I usually eat lunch at my desk.

Another great sporting event that I wish I had watched. (I saw the commercial for this game before dinner last night on ESPN.)

The Detroit Tigers’ Justin Verlander, last year’s rookie of the year in the AL, threw a no-hitter last night against the Milwaukee Brewers.

The last Tiger to do that was in 1984 when Jack Morris no-hit the Chicago White Sox. I remember listening to part of that game while delivery newspapers with my Dad.
