Almost exactly a week after his 18 month “Birthday”, Nigel had his 18 month check-up with the pediatrician (yesterday). All seems to be going well in the world of Nigel. One thing that Marcia was a bit concerned about was his talking / saying words, or lack thereof. Last time the doctor asked, “Does he have three words yet?” Well that got Marcia nervous because Nigel still doesn’t have ONE yet. But the doctor said this time (the same doctor) that it’s OK because he is babbling a lot, and he is showing recognition of things. He not only knows where the refrigerator is when we ask him if he wants milk, he even grabs the carton for you (if it isn’t too full for him to pick up).
