“The Last King of Scotland” Aussie Rules Fantasy Football - Rnd 9

I am changing jobs again. After a comment like that, some of you are probably wondering if I can stay in one place very long. Sure I can. I have in the past. I stayed with Forward Planning for just short of ten years. And I was at CHL for just over five years. My plan was when I left CHL was to stay somewhere for a decent period of time. Unfortunately that didn’t happen.

I have mentioned before that I left CHL for FMC and it was a nightmare. Maybe overstating it, but it was a mess. So then I took the contract position with FLSmidth with the idea of hiring in after the six month contract was done. But their offer was low. Very low. So after talking to Marcia, we made the decision for me to start looking again. Though not actively looking. Just posting my resume and seeing if anyone wanted to interview me. And there were companies interested. One was Lehigh Cement. That’s where I will be working.

To keep this off the internet, I kept a separate journal (never know who is reading) because I still needed to write about it. It helped organize my thoughts and get things off my chest. Now I am POSTING it for anyone that is interested in reading it.

Also, for the record, I have enjoyed my time at FLSmidth. Other then being disappointed at the low salary offer, I have nothing but good things to say about the people that I worked with and the conditions there.

Congrats Scooter! I can’t believe that tomorrow will be 7 years since I started at the company I’m at right now. I thought I would be here maybe two-three years but I am still going strong. Good luck big brother!
