Poor Sick Little Boy
The Munchkin Man is sick. The poor little guy has been so out of it the last three days. He ended up taking TWO naps Thursday afternoon between my coming home from work and eating dinner. We are lucky to get him take two naps in a day! The first time he just cuddled up with a blanket on the floor after playing for a few minutes. And Friday was pretty much the same way.
Marcia has been giving him Pedialyte and/or LiquiLyte and crackers the last few days. And sometimes he even doesn’t want those. At least the last two days he has kept everything down. It is amazing to see a kid that is so active and wanting to do so much just sit there and look so pitiful. It is really heartbreaking. I know these things happen, but it’s hard to see the little guy feeling so bad.
Oh … And By The Way …
… I’m sick, too. Been feeling lousy since Thursday night. I was going to go to work today, but I think my time is better spent resting.
The Title Is … What?
I was looking at an email from Amazon.Com that I get every couple of weeks informing me of new books that are coming out. I was looking at it through my Gmail account, so there were links that Google puts up automatically next to the email. One had a ridiculous title for a book, so I had to click it. Sure enough, it was an honest-to-goodness book, and for kids!
And this is just the first book in a series of them! Amazing.
The Battle of the Surfaces
I couldn’t believe this when I saw it, but it appears to be actually happening. It’s called “The Battle of the Surfaces”. What is it? Well, let me ask all you tennis fans a couple of questions.
Who is the best grass court player in the game? Your answer should be Roger Federer.
And who is the best clay court player in the game? Your answer should be Rafael Nadal.
Federer recently beat Nadal in the finals at Wimbledon (grass) and Nadal beat Federer in the finals at the French Open (clay). So how do you figure out who the best player is of the two? You build a court that is half grass and half clay and then them out there to duke it out.
The match will be Wednesday May 2. I am trying to find if it will be broadcast here in the States, because I would love to see this match.
