Though internet friend Roger didn’t win the NCAA Basketball pool he was in because of it, I was still very HAPPY to see Ohio St. lose a second National Championship Game in the matter of four months.

I find it kind of funny that the most confusing city to get around because of the crazy street set up is our Nation’s Capital, Washington, D.C. You would think with all the politicians, delegates, ambassadors, other civil leaders, and citizens needing to visit that it would have been laid out to be less complicated.

It’s that time of the year again. I know my loyal readers have been dying for the Aussie Rules Football season to start, to see how my fantasy team (the Philadelphia Freedom) will fair this year.
Last year I finished in 5th place among the 16 teams. Only the top four teams qualified for the playoffs. This year like the real AFL the top eight teams will qualify. Given the base of my team, I feel that qualifying for the playoffs won’t be hard. Getting a good seed though will be as tough as getting into the playoffs was last season. A good seed will be essential, since the top four teams will get a double elimination route through the playoffs, meaning that if you lose the first game, you get a second chance.
