We are back from our trip to DC for my cousin Sarah’s wedding. It was a great time, especially getting to see family for the first time since Christmas (and we didn’t have to drive 10 hours to Detroit to see them).
We got in about 5:30 in the afternoon. Sarah had set up a block of rooms at the Double Tree on Rhode Island Ave. It was a very nice place, and the price was (we suspected) quite well reduced. The only drawback to it was small elevators that had doors that closed awfully darn fast. I bring this up mostly, because I got stuck in the elevator trying to get the luggage cart out, which...
