The Hole in My Back
I saw the doctor again yesterday and he says the “wound” looks great. Everything is going as planned. He took off the huge dressing and removed the packing and said that now we should put Neosporin on it twice a day, and any big BandAid will do. I see him again this coming Wednesday when he feels he can take out the sutures from what he did stitch up. I am not sure if he will be closing the rest of it though. I have a funny feeling that I am going to have to wait a bit longer before that happens.

Funny Sign
There is a rather amusing sign outside of the office building where the doctor I have been seeing about the cyst makes his home. It is in the grass next to the door. It says: “Please do not throw cigarette butts into the shrubbery. The squirrels come out at night and smoke them and we are trying to get them to quit.”

Idle Thought
Does anyone else find it funny that Antonio Banderas is doing the voice of the Nasonex Bee? The only thing I can figure is that he uses the stuff and really likes the results. Because you would think that someone with his credentials wouldn’t be doing something like this. (Either that or he was offered a boatload of money to do it.)

Nigel’s 16!
Well, sixteen MONTHS old today. It’s amazing how fast the time has gone by. But on the other hand it is hard to remember what life was like before Nigel was born. There is so much to being a parent that it takes up so much of your life, and yet life would seem boring without parenthood.
