So on top of the healing of the cyst removal, I now have a rather impressive cold. I was running a fever last night, so I had to cancel my doctor’s appointment which was a follow-up on the cyst. I figured I wouldn’t go into work today, but woke up at 6:30 feeling rather good (I usually get up at 4:20). So I decided that I could go in, given that there were a few things that needed to get done by Friday, and this would give the engineer in charge more time to look it over. By the time I go to work though, I was right back to where I was. Proving that even if you feel better after resting when sick, continue to rest!
I worked four and a half hours, getting done what I needed, and promptly came home. Marcia needed some air in one of the tires in her car, so we headed out to take care of that and she got me some DayQuil and NyQuil. I then spent the rest of the afternoon reading and napping (mostly the latter). The DayQuil really helped, and hopefully the NyQuil will prove to be as effective.

I’ve had a very minor cold for the past week now. I’m lucky - my sister suffered for two weeks! She sounded really bad too.
