I stayed home from work today. I was just too out of it. The painkiller I have was not helping to much with the pain, once the local wore off. And of course it was making me drowsy. So Marcia waited on my today AND took care of Nigel. After seeing the doctor this morning, he said everything looked good, gave me a prescription for more of the painkiller and said take it more often for the pain, if needed.
The dressing change this morning was painful. WARNING, graphic description ahead. As I mentioned, he didn’t close the cut and stuffed it with cotton/gauze. Well he pulled that out this morning. Yikes!! I was in a lot of pain, and ended up taking a painkiller before we left. Then took another when we got home. This...
