Everything went well with the procedure this evening. There were two issues that I could face. Removal of the cyst (as opposed to just draining it), and closing the incision. The doctor was able to remove the entire cyst. If he couldn’t this evening, obviously I would have had to come back at some other point to have it fully removed. Unfortunately the other issue that could happened has. The infection was to a point where he couldn’t entirely close the incision. He did the best he could, but said it was pointless to close it all, only making it better for the infection to grow and become worse. So the “wound” is still partially opened and I need to go and have the dressings changed everyday until they can...
