I have had a cyst on my back now for about 14 years. You’re all saying “Yikes!” right now, I know. But it’s not as bad as you think. Part of the reason I have let it go for so long was that I kept forgetting about it. It’s in a place that I can’t reach, and it never caused me discomfort and/or pain. I had talked to the family doctor a couple of years ago about it, and he gave me a couple of doctors that could help, said it wasn’t dangerous, but that eventually it could cause me discomfort and/or pain. Well “eventually” happened on Thursday of last week.

I had started calling dermatologists that could take care of it, but either they didn’t accept my insurance, or couldn’t...
