Marcia took Nigel to the allergist this morning. Given the fact that he has been breaking out after drinking regular milk, his pediatrician suggested talking to the allergist to see what was going on. They did a quick test and found that Nigel is allergic to milk and eggs. However, this may still be a temporary baby thing. They said to bring him back in six months and they will test him again.
But they also said that he doesn’t have any problems with the soy milk. It had seemed at first that Nigel was getting a similar, though less reaction to the soy, so we were a bit concerned. The doctor today also informed Marcia that soy milk can be purchased in non-perishable form. This should help him in getting used to it. Nigel...

On New Year’s Eve, just hours before the year ended, I finished reading “Corelli’s Mandolin” by Louis de Bernieres.
