Even with all that has been going on, I got to try a couple of beers. One Marcia bought for me when she went shopping during our return trip to Michigan.
The beer that she bought me was Smithwick’s Irish Ale. Smithwick is part of the Guinness family and one of the biggest reasons she bought it for me. It was a good Irish ale, though not incredible. It would be a good one to get from time to time to have a good non-specialty beer.
The second one was Leinenkugel’s Apple Spice. For those that know my beer tastes, this was one that I would obviously have to try. I only know of, and had, one other...
