So Nigel continues to grow. I know, big surprise. But there have been a few new things for him.

First and foremost he doesn’t like sitting for too long these days. He loves cruising around in his walker, or just standing in it and playing with the toys on it. He also has been walking around with the aid of Marcia or myself. Another trick of his is learning to crawl. We used to lay him on his stomach and he would immediately turn over on his back. Now it’s the opposite. He rolls over on his stomach and starts trying to get him self moving. He has a bit to go in the technique, but he has managed to get himself across a bed now, though it takes a few minutes.

So yesterday I walked out of CHL’s building for the last time as an employee. It was the end to a weird couple of days.

On Thursday I was still struggling to get things finished on one project. My mind was wandering, wanting to move on. However I really enjoyed the kind of project it was, and since it was for one of the Project Engineers that I really enjoyed working with, I didn’t want to leave him hanging. Then around 1:00 or so, one of the other guys said that my supervisor was getting some guys together and they wanted to take me out for a couple of beers after work. It was unexpected, and very kind.
