I’ve been rather busy lately, so no blogging. Most of what I have been busy with is something that I don’t want to post about at this time. I probably will when things clear up.
I promise to post those pictures of this past weekend during Marcia’s Virginia relatives’ visit. There are some real cute ones, especially of Nigel and Marcia’s cousin Kathryn.
A few other notes, just to keep things busy here:
The birthday card from my sister Jenn was another funny, beer related one. It said: “Some people say that you are a hard person to buy a gift for. Obviously they don’t know where to buy beer.” What adds to the humor of this card is what my Brother-In-Law David says about buying gifts for me. “I look for something that I would want and that you don’t already have.”
Speaking of beer, I received an email from a friend that was very funny.
It said: “I believe in these difficult and mean-spirited times in which we live there needs to be a message of hope. Just a single image that speaks to us of love, harmony, peace and joy. An image that suggests the universal brotherhood of man. I have found that image, and I ask that all of you take a moment to be inspired by it.”

I am not that obsessed with beer (though I know it’s hard to believe), but it got a good laugh out of me nonetheless.
And one last note, I was looking through the schedule of the recent Musikfest held in Bethlehem, PA. One of the bands wins for most original and outrageous band name. Gandalf Murphy and the Slambovian Circus of Dreams. Eventually I am going to give a listen to some sound samples and see if their name translates to good music.
So, is everybody having fun out there?

Fun? Can we have a definition of that word? I’ve seen to have forgotten what it means.
