Scooter Chronicles

While visiting family in Michigan, my sister Jenn, Marcia, and I went to the Dragonmead Microbrewery in Warren. I had heard about this place last year through my brother-in-law David and my Uncle Steve. I had been wanting to go for a while now, since it was so close to where I grew up (about five miles from my parents place), but during the last two visits we never found the time.

Microbreweries and brew pubs are usually in strange locations. Part of this probably is attributed to low funds and low rent. But the two biggest factors is practicality with needing space for the brewing equipment, or it is for effect and/or atmosphere. With Dragonmead it was obviously on the practicality side...
