We got a bit of a later start then expected, but we rolled into Jeff and Amber’s driveway after 1:00. The timing was good, since they planned on having eat lunch with them. We were staying in the guest room of their new house (and it is very nice!). They had made ham and Swiss sandwiches with a garlic butter dressing. They were very, very good. As the day went on, we needed a few things from the store since we forgot them. So Jeff and I headed out twice to Meijer over the course of the day.
Dinner was a garlic chicken with green, red, and yellow peppers in a garlic sauce, and pasta. Again, another excellent meal. The second time we headed out, Jeff and I rented the movie “The Weather Man” (review to follow...
