Marcia and I headed down to the Jefferson Headache Center today. She has had migraines since she was twelve years old. This was our third trip there, but the first in about three years. Marcia didn’t like the doctor she was assigned to before, and they were pushing meds that she does not like or is afraid to use. As it is, they are still pushing them.
They did however give her a shot, or more correctly twelve shots. It was actually all the same injection, but part of it had to go to twelve different points. Marcia had something similar three years ago and gave her six weeks without pain. They hope that this one lasts her eight weeks, and will probably give her the same thing next time. As it is though, she is participating...
