I didn’t get to see much of the game last night, but the Red Wings 2-0 victory over the Edmonton Oilers won them a prize. Its the Presidents’ Trophy. For those of you that are not familiar with it, it is the trophy presented to the team that finishes the season with the best record. With most teams still having three to four games left, no one can catch the Wings.
This also means (for those unfamiliar) that the Wings will have “home ice advantage” throughout the playoffs. Always a good thing. Though sometimes it rarely helps. Since the Presidents’...
