I have not ever really been happy with Comcast, as I have said before. There are many reasons, but mostly they are just annoying things. The biggest problem has been availability of other cable companies where I live. Obviously without competition, prices are high. Only my 13 months living in Dayton, Ohio did I get a choice of cable provider (and proudly went with Time Warner).
So as I mentioned before, Comcast are offering VOIP, or internet phone service. It is cheaper then a regular land line, because you are not paying for the overhead charges of those phone lines. It’s that time of year again! Australian Rules Football time! And that means that the fantasy league that I was in started up again. This past weekend was the season opener for both the AFL and our fantasy league (which we affectionately call the WAFA).
A few changes this year. We had a few owners/GM’s back out, and one of them at the last moment, so his team is run by the league. But before that we added four teams, bringing the total to 16. The existing teams all had to cut five of their twelve players, then we drafted five new players with the expansion teams taking picks at the beginning and end of each round.
