What is the NHL doing?

I have heard rumors at Chris Creamer’s Sports Logos Forum that there are going to be some big changes for some of the NHL team’s jerseys for next year. Across the board teams will be supplied with “form-fitting” jerseys.

I hate to say it, but they look stupid in my opinion. It almost looks like they are too small. Maybe it’s because I am used to seeing them more flowing and baggy. I also wonder if they will restrict players’ movement.

A couple of nights ago, due to Nigel taking a few hours off from crying (boy I got lucky), I finished “The Genizah at the House of Shepher” by Tamar Yellin. (As you can see, I am falling behind. That last “Favorite Album” post has been in the making for over a week.)

Just saw the ARTICLE about Groundhog Day in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. You all know what this is about. So Phil, the most popular groundhog in PA (second is the PA Lottery’s mascot Gus) says there is going to be six more weeks of winter.

I think Phil needs to see a veterinarian and have a good check-up. Because last time I checked we aren’t having much of a winter in the first place. It’s more like a slightly cooler then normal autumn.

Amazon.Com is starting something new, which could be very interesting. They are signing up authors to post things on what they are calling “PLOGS” for customers to read. There will be some info about each author, their books (with links to Amazon.Com pages of course), and posts. Also, they will be able to put up lists of their favorite books and CD’s. A couple of examples are Neil Gaiman’s PAGE and Jodi Picoult’s PAGE.
