So I went along with Marcia to Nigel’s appointment this afternoon. As I mentioned before, we are worried about his constant crying (though we know this happens from time to time with newborns), his spitting up of his food, and his dry, rash-like skin. Well it turns out that all three are probably associated with each other. The doctor said that he probably has an intolerance to cow’s milk which is an ingredient in the formula we have been using. So she gave us a new one to try, and it is specifically made for babies that are having the problems Nigel is having. Hopefully it will help.

Also, we got some good news about Marcia’s breastfeeding. We were figuring that with her migraines showing up again that she...

After a few aborted attempts (due to Nigel), Marcia and I watched “The Brothers Grimm” yesterday afternoon and night. This is the Terry Gilliam directed movie (Monty Python alum) starring Matt Damon and Heath Ledger.

This was one that I wanted to see in the theater. Though honestly at first I was not happy with the choices of actors. I thought Damon and Ledger were both good, but not to be brothers. They were done up well though and looked the part.

Her breathing is not being aided by a respirator.

Angie had been having symptoms on Friday, so my sister Jenn took her to the hospital. Her blood pressure was up, and after getting it down the doctor decided to start inducing Angie. Todd had to drive in from Chicago that afternoon and was there in plenty of time. After waiting through the night and most of the following...

This past Saturday was Marcia’s birthday. Unfortunately it turned out to be a rather a bummer for her. On Friday we had a shindig at her Mom’s place, but before we started eating dinner Marcia felt a migraine coming on. So she ended up retiring to the bedroom for the rest of the night. Her sister Catherine had something for her to take which got her through the night, but she was in some bad pain before.

On Saturday we were supposed to go to the Apollo Grill in downtown Bethlehem. It is the place we went to on our first date. She was feeling alright Saturday morning, but as the day went on she was feeling bad again. So we decided not to chance it and went home after spending...
