Scooter Chronicles

Marcia and I have had a lousy start to the New Year. Little Nigel has not been cooperating when we try to get him to sleep at night. From about 9:00 to 12:00 at night he becomes “Cranky Baby Extraordinaire”. What hasn’t helped is that I have a bad cold and Marcia has what is probably an ear infection (she feels draining from time to time, has hearing loss, and sometimes experiences vertigo). So neither of us are at the proverbial “100%” and both could use a couple of good nights of sleep.

I know that we are not the only parents to ever go through this. I know that this is temporary. But it is times like this that makes me wonder why parents decide to have a second child.
