Late this afternoon I finished “The Chess Garden” by Brooks Hansen. The hardcover edition of the book was subtitled “The Twilight Letter of Gustav Uyterhoeven”.

Movies? What Are Those?
Due to the hockey season starting and our NHL Center Ice Package, Marcia and I have not been watching any movies or other DVD’s lately. We rented the second season of “The Kids in the Hall” about a month and a half ago and haven’t watched it. I finally sent them back this morning. (We have Netflix …… no late fees.) I am not sure we are going to get a lot of time to watch any in the near future with Nigel’s arrival, but we are going to try. Don’t want to keep wasting our Netflix membership. Plus there are a few things coming out recently that we have wanted to see and have added them to our queue. We also have three movies from David and...

It is pretty amazing. The Wings looked totally flat, yet still found a way to score 5 goals. They were UP by two goals starting the third, and with 7 minutes left in the third they were DOWN by two goals. Then they scored two with minutes of each other to send it to OT. Damn lucky. Osgood looked pretty good despite giving up 6 goals. The defense was really dogging it sometimes.
