They looked good for the first few minutes. It helped that they scored on their first shot of the game. But after that, it was all downhill. Though the game did get exciting there for a stretch during the second period. Almost had an air of playoff hockey.

There was one highlight to mention on the Flames side. Darren McCarty scored his first goal AGAINST the Wings last night. It was a wrap-around on Legace’s glove side, that it appeared that Manny saw coming. Shouldn’t have happened, but it did. If you weren’t watching the game, you could tell that Mac was ecstatic to score. And he was banging like usual. He got Chelios twice really good over the course of a few seconds.
