“Holy cripe!”
Hockeytown’s ol’ buddy Sergei Fedorov was traded by the Anaheim Mighty Ducks to the Columbus Blue Jackets. It will give Wings fans more opportunities to see the former Wing. You can read about the trade thanks to the Fox Sports ARTICLE.

Obviously the Ducks weren’t happy with his production, or lack thereof, and were trying to make cap room. Boy oh boy, that salary cap is going to make it tough for high paid guys to keep there...

Lightning 5, Flyers 2
So I watched a good part of this game. The Bolts have not been playing like the champs lately, losing 6 in a row, which has sunk their record to 7-9-2. The Flyers on the other hand have been playing rather well given their shaky start, winning the last six. This included beating the Florida Panthers on a shorthanded goal with 3 seconds left in regulation. But the Bolts put both streaks to an end last night.
From the parts that I watched, both teams were playing pretty good. Heck, at one point in the third the Flyers were dominating the game. But the Bolts’ Martin Cibak stole a pass at their own blueline and raced into the Flyers’ zone to score, giving them a 4-2 lead. ...
