The Wings blew a two goal lead late in the third period, but thankfully Robert Lang scored in OT for the victory. Also, thankfully it averted the possibility of shoot-out.

(Have I mentioned I HATE shoot-out?)

Shoot-out Saver Robert Lang.

Manny Legace was back in net after a sprained knee had him out for a while. He was Defensive Player of the Month in October and set the record for wins in the opening month of the season. He looked great tonight, despite giving up four goals.

I was there the Wings were flat out played in the first and some of the second, they got a lucky break on one goal and then they stepped it up a bit. Not one of thier best performances this season. Manny came up big a few times to keep them in it.
