The White Sox, who were appearing in their first World Series since 1959, and haven’t won the World Series since 1917, completed their sweep of the Houston Astros last night.

The White Sox celebrate their World Championship last night after winning 1-0.

So last year the Red Sox ended their huge string of futility, and now the White Sox have done it. Are the Chicago Cubs next? I am sure that is what those north side Chicago fans are hoping.
