The Wings’ special teams won this game for them. Midway through the second period, with the score tied at 1-1, the Wings took some penalties that resulted in over 2 minutes of a 5-on-3 for the Blue Jackets. The Wings shut them down. The Jackets then had a one-man advantage, but was interupted by taking a penalty, making it a 4-on-4. The Wings then scored just before their last penalty expired, giving them a 2-1 lead, and with a power play yet to come. They then scored on that power play.
The Jackets came back with one. Then Jackets’ Steven Goertzen took a 5 minute major for a boarding call on Andreas Lilja, who looked to severly injure his right knee on the play. Halfway through the power play the Wings scored, and...

OK, so I have mentioned before that I have used a software program to put together songs. It is called Acid. You can take small samples of sounds and mix them with others to create backing tracks or just rhythms, or like I have to create full songs. Obviously all the sounds are copyright free and can be used by anyone that purchases the disc they are on, or downloads them from web sites.
Anyway, what I have done is more like a producer/mixer does when they remix someone’s song. But I am not remixing anyone’s song, just making new ones. I submitted one to a group of people that got together at ProgressiveEars.Com that were putting together...

Nigel’s Room Renovation Begins
Didn’t actually do too much to the room, but had to move the queen size bed out of there. Thanks to David’s help, we got it to my mother-in-law’s place. We had to do a major swap though. Had to take a bed out of the room mine was going into, then take that to my wife’s grandmother’s place. Then had to move the frame of one there up to the attic. Boy, this kid isn’t even born and he’s causing a lot of problems. (Just kidding, of course.)
The other issue was renting a truck to do it. Rental companies only rent vans to businesses. Then the closest place that had the smalled truck (a ten-footer) was in Norristown. That was about...
