Here is some of the stuff that shower guests were so generous is giving us.
First we have some of the essentials and things to keep Nigel occupied.
Then he got some great clothes. Some of the highlights are below, especially Red Wings, Michigan St., and a cowboy outfit that Marcia fell in love with when we saw it at Babie ‘R Us.
Then we got some great stuff that my Mom made. Here are a couple of the things she made.
There were a few books, but the best was a hockey book titled “Z is for Zamboni: A Hockey Alphabet”.
And speaking of letters, we also got his initials to hang up in his room.
It turned out to be a long day for Marcia, but our nephew Ryan was exhausted, too. So he decided to take a nap with Nigel.
These pictures only represent a part of the gifts Marcia received. There was much more. Just didn’t want to post all the pictures. And we didn’t take pictures of everything either.

I’m so glad you guys got so much stuff we will be sending a gift card for babies r us in a couple of weeks. so she can get a few more things she needs that is the cutest picture of nigel and ryan

I love the pictures with a few comments. 1. Marcia looks wonderful. 2. Be careful with the Michigan State shirt, I don’t want your little one thinking that State is the team to cheer for in Michigan. I will see if I can’t change that for him (with Braylen’s help). I’ve been working with Braylen on saying GO BLUE!!!!! He is starting to watch a little more sports along with shooting hoops on his basketball toy, and throwing an assortment of balls around, including the ball that I got from the Tigers game a few months ago.
3. Looking at the intials for Nigel NRF we have
NERF (Nigel)
and
BARF (Braylen)
The reason that stands out to me is because here at work we use the three intials for ID which mine are
BMF (BIG MUTHA *&^%$)

Thanks Brian. I am sure Marcia will appreciate the compliment.
As for the whole UM-MSU thing, I am sure Nigel will grow up a Penn St. fan. And maybe Paterno will have retired by then.
I never thought about Braylen’s initials before. That is funny! Though Marcia and I already discussed that Nigel could be NERF. Especially if he gets confirmed a Catholic and chooses the name Edward.
That’s great that you are teaching Braylen Go Blue! And glad to see he is taking our family tradition in being a sports junkie. We bought Nigel some pillows that are a soccer ball, a football, and a basketball already.
