For the first time in what seemed like a while, we got together for Pizza Night yesterday. Andy and Yvonne hosted this week’s addition. We celebrated Catherine’s birthday (which was Sept. 29th) and Yvonne’s (Oct. 2nd). Andy’s colleagues Kevin (also a teacher) was there, and it was interesting to discuss the “no child left behind” ideals put forth by the government.
The Beer and Book Club was also mentioned. It looks like it’s a go! Shannon helped David and I recruit participants because she is very interested in discussing the first book we are going to read (she read it this past summer). So a couple of people that I didn’t expect might be joining us. Although they are not beer drinkers per se. Either way, it should be fun.
