Rumors floating around the league are calling for one of the most idiotic things I have ever heard of. Check out this ARTICLE at TSN. It says that they want NHL goalies to wear a different sweater then the other players, like soccer.
WHAT?!
The article says the idea is to keep the jersey sizes more streamlined, so we don’t have anymore instances like Patrick Roy and his very baggy dress sweaters. And that is all well and good, and I can understand the idea behind. As long as it allows enough room for the goalie to move. But WHY do they need to be different from the other players?!
Please, tell me this isn’t happening.
