Tonight, Marcia and I watched “The Virgin Suicides”, based on the book by Jeffrey Eugenides that I recently read and REVIEWED.

In basic terms, the movie is about 5 sisters living in Grosse Pointe, Michigan that kill themselves. Sorry, but I have already gone through copying the plot in the book review.

The movie was the directorial debut of Sofia Coppola, and in general she did a good job in keeping close to the book. It helps that the book is somewhat short. It’s feeling of distance, since it is not a character driven...

It is not like I always sit around and watch football. But then again from time to time I do take the time to watch a game now and then. And it is usually a Michigan St. game. I totally forgot about their big showdown today with Notre Dame, but tuned in just in time for overtime.

The Irish came back from a 21 point deficit. The Spartans won the toss for OT though, and elected to go second. They held Notre Dame to a field goal, and then on their second play from scrimmage in OT, scored on a 19 yard run.

After all the work David put into our PC, it was on the fritz again mid-week. It was doing it’s usual continuous rebooting. David figured that the last thing it could be was the power supply. He thinking was that it might not be powerful enough, and when overloaded it would just shut off and reboot itself.

So he switched out the power supply this afternoon with our old one that was bigger. So far the problems have not come back. But I am not giving in to the idea that it is good to go for a couple weeks if not more. And if the problem does come back, then we are yanking my extra hard drive out of it and sending the whole piece of crap back to TigerDirect. Then of cours we will have to buy anothe computer.
