Many media types are saying that. I got the latest issue of Sport Illustrated today and there was a two page article (actually one page and one full page picture) about the NHL’s free agency bonanza. Yet there was a six page article on a track and field meet in Finland! By the way, this was the only hockey coverage they have had in months, yet even in April there are NFL articles.
On top of this, I have heard rumors today that ESPN will no longer be broadcasting their show NHL2NITE, which was a nightly round-up of the day in hockey.
And who’s to blame for this? The two jackasses pictured below.

Thanks to my brother Todd for leading me to this ARTICLE reporting that the Red Wings have signed Henrik Zetterberg. So at least they got one of their young up and coming stars under contract.
I am not sure how much they were offering before, but maybe they upped the ante to get him signed after losing Datsyuk this year. Though I hope it was just a matter of Henrik being smart and finally excepting a very good offer to play with one of the best franchises in the game.

Had this one while on vacation in Williamsburg. It is a Belgian style dark strong ale. And strong it was. It has a bit of a spiced and banana taste to it. Very, very good. Hope to find this again someday.

Nigel is Moving Around
And I got to feel it last night. Just after I shut off the lights to go to bed, Marcia said that he was moving around. So I put my hand on her stomach and sure enough I felt him. Only a couple of times, but it was pretty cool.
This was not the first time I have ever felt that. But it was the first time I did as the father. : )
Dr. Zog … Report to PC ICU Stat!
Thanks to David, our PC has seemed to rise from the dead. He had it on life support a few times, and finally at one point didn’t need to perform CPR after taking it off. It was a real struggle there, but it was running good enough to take out of ICU. It is listed in fair, yet stable...
