Excuse the blantant comment. But I had enough of their problems last week, and yet I continue to find more ineptitude to make me not ever want to even hear their name again.
Back on Thursday, I finally seemed to get through and have the processor resent, after TD’s typo that sent the first replacement to the wrong address. The customer service rep said they would send it Next Day via UPS, but it could take 48 hours before it ships. It showed up this morning. From the time the email confirmation showed up, it was less then 24 hours to get to the house. But the problem was that it took 4 business days (96 hours) to finally ship.
Then this afternoon, I got a call from UPS inquiring about TD’s claim that the first processor was sent to the wrong house. So it took TD (figuring for a couple of days for UPS to call me) 7 days to finally get to the problem after I called them!
IDIOTS!!
But the best is yet to come. I came home today and saw the nice, new processor sitting on the desk. Wait! Where is the fan? We had to send the fan back because it was adhered to the processor. But TD didn’t think to send another fan! So David directed me to CompUSA to buy a fan. I called TD (on the cell phone while driving to CompUSA) to get refunded the money for the fan. Guess what? Supposedly they already did back when they received the returned processor. I have to check that tomorrow when I get a chance.
Just a suggestion folks, but I wouldn’t buy anything from TigerDirect.
