Relaxin’ at Home
Yesterday, if you hadn’t noticed or don’t live in my neck of the woods, was a gorgeous day. I would say it was in the mid 80′s with no humidity. Boy, it’s been so long I almost forgot how nice summer days feel. When I got home from work, I spent a little time with Marcia and Molson. I then ended up falling asleep for about 15 minutes with Molson. But after, I went out on the deck and read for about an hour. It was too nice to pass up. Just wish we had more days like that this summer. Been too muggy.

While vacationing in Virginia, my team won their last game of the regular season. After losing 8 straight, I managed to go 7-4 in the last 11 games.

We are having “other” playoff games while the top 4 teams play the “finals.” (In the AFL, the playoffs are referred to as the Finals, and the championship game as the Grand Final.) I was seeded up with the bottom four. I beat Napa Valley last week, and this weekend face Toronto.

I am looking forward to next season, now that I am looking at the stats correctly. We will be keeping a certain amount of our rosters. Then draft again so each team has 12. Hopefully I can improve on this year with better choices up front.
